| Reverie, a Jazz trio or five-person ensemble, performs early jazz standards and forgotten favorites in a style reminiscent of a bygone era, while bringing back the great melodies and emotion exemplified by the great jazz and blues music of the 1930's, 1940's and early 1950's. Some of Reverie’s influences are Billy Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Rosemary Clooney, Fats Waller and many others from the pre- Bebop time period. The group features Amy Kean (vocals), Dave Tucker (piano), Terry Kean ( bass guitar), Eric Lloyd (saxes) and Emily Lloyd (Clarinet). Based in Northern Virginia, Reverie is available to perform at outdoor venues, restaurants & clubs, music festivals, private parties, receptions, corporate events and all sorts of special events in the entire Washington D.C. area including suburban Northern Virginia and Maryland. |
