Drums

Dan Boothe has been drumming for the last 20 years covering
everything from jazz to rock, pop to orchestral, and everything in
between.  As a freelancer he has performed with recording artists from
Los Angeles to Chicago, drumming regularly for the DixieCups in
Pittsburgh, the Len Gray Big Band from Ocean City (MD), the Roanoke
Jazz Orchestra, and Jim Miller's Swing-Shift radio band.
Dan also has
an extensive background in other musical realms.  In the summer of
2007 Dan was the David Effron Conducting Fellow for the Chautauqua
Music Festival Orchestra in New York.  In 2004 he toured Russia as a
bass with the "Radford Singers".  Locally he has been an assistant
Conductor for the George Mason University orchestras, and has been
the musical director at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Sterling
Virginia.  
Dan lives in Fairfax, VA with his wife Andrea and their
daughter, Charlotte.
