| Live Streaming Broadcast Broadcasts from Glen Echo suspended until we get better wireless communications in the area of the Park. About our broadcasts: The Hot Society Orchestra of Washington now broadcasts our performances for dances at Glen Echo Park, as well as other selected concerts/dances at other venues. We do not broadcast private events. We started test broadcasts in October 2010 and announced links to our broadcasts in late November 2010. We use a number of outside service providers to make this happen, but because of Glen Echo Park's physical location we have some technical limitations. However, we're keeping an eye on technology that will allow us to improve our broadcast very soon. We're doing this in stages, so once we make sure something works, we then go on to add another layer of capability. As we begin this project we're using only a single camera with very good STEREOPHONIC sound! We expect to move to at least three cameras very soon in early 2011. Note: If you go to one of our live broadcast sites, but you don't see live streaming video when you think we should be live, then try refreshing the page. Our broadcasts run in all web browsers. IMPORTANT: We highly recommend that you first install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player here at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer All of our broadcasts are archived online. We recommend RealPlayer, for viewing downloaded video archive files, which can be installed here at http://www.real.com/realplayer GO TO OUR LIVE BROADCAST GO HERE FOR ARCHIVED (and LIVE) BROADCASTS |
